Good news came from the Baseball5 Asia Cup held in South Korea on April 16. The China Baseball5 Team, consisting mainly of students from Dongqu High School of Zhongshan and Zhongshan Dongsheng Senior High School, took the third place and secured the Baseball5 World Cup qualification.

Eight teams divided into two groups participated in the Asia Cup. The China Baseball5 Team had 4 students from Zhongshan, including Xu Shengfu, Huang Hantao and Chen Jiayu from Dongqu High School of Zhongshan and Wang Qin from Zhongshan Dongsheng Senior High School.

The Baseball5 World Cup will be held in Hong Kong, China this October.
