The Emergency Integrated Power Generation Device from Zhongshan stood out from more than 1,000 entries from around the world and won the iF Design Award 2023, ranking 23rd.

Among the award-winning designers was Fan Fengyuan, one of the first distinguished talents in Zhongshan, an external associate professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and a designer of Zhongshan Longyuyuan Electric Co. He previously won the Red Dot: Best of the Best award in Singapore in 2018.

The iF design award was introduced in 1954. It is known as one of the world's top three major design awards along with Red Dot and IDEA.
