Teaching African doctors techniques such as bone-setting, acupressure, spinal adjustment and Baduanjin exercises, Dr Zhang Zhenshan from Zhongshan has been part of China's 31st medical team aiding Equatorial Guinea.
Since January 2021, over the course of 574 days in Africa, he practiced medicine while documenting the experiences and stories of the medical team in providing medical assistance locally.
Upon his return to China, Dr Zhang compiled his experiences into a book titled "A Medical Journey in Africa: My 574 Days and Nights in Equatorial Guinea," which was released on December 21.
