From January to July this year, legal aid institutions at all levels in Zhongshan handled a total of 1,917 legal aid cases, provided legal consultancy services to 12,913 people, and restored 7.395 million yuan in losses for their clients to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.

At present, there is one municipal legal aid institution, 23 town-level legal aid workstations, and 277 village-based legal aid service sites across the city.
