In order to strengthen supervision on social medical insurance fund and further rectify and standardize medical security order, Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Zhongshan Health and Family Planning Bureau, Zhongshan Public Security Bureau and Zhongshan Food and Drug Administration recently carried out a special action for cracking down on medical insurance and related fraud.

The action includes: special inspection on the using of medical insurance fund in accordance with daily supervision, risk assessment, question screening and complaints verification over “two designated agencies”; and complete inspection on “two designated agencies” with high violation risk, violation record or suspected illegal behaviors and cases reported by the public.

“Medical insurance fund is the life saver of patients. It is our responsibility to fight against medical insurance fraud to guarantee the insureds’ vital interests.” Responsible person of Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Burea says.
