Great Shots of the Week is a weekly photo solicitation event held by Zhongshan Daily to collect photos from the public every week. Top 6 winners will be given prizes and electronic certificates. Concentration (Second prize): On May 24, two students of Dachong Qinan Primary School watched an engraver doing wood carving with rapt attention during an extracurricular activity in the Chinese Rosewood Culture Expo City. (By Li Zeyan)
Ancient Village Tour (Third prize): On the morning of May 28, the parents flew a kite with their children in front of an ancient fortress in Caobian Village in South District. (By Liang Dongmei)
Curiosity (Third prize): Some children were curious about a wooden dragon during the Drunken Dragon Parade in Changzhou Village in West District on May 26. (By Chen Weiwen)
Caiqing (Third prize): During a lion dance parade in Zimaling Village in East District on the night of May 27, a dancing lion was performing Caiqing (literally picking fresh green vegetable) in a house. (By Yang Yaobin)
