The garden management department of Zhongshan is implementing a landscaping project for the Spring Festival and plans to complete the installation of lanterns in sections of Xingzhong Avenue by January 29. The whole project will be completed on February 9.

This year, festive decorations will be mainly installed in 6 places in Zhongshan's downtown areas, including the greenbelt in front of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress building, the South Gate Square of Zimaling Park, the Archway Square of Sun Wen Memorial Park, the entrance to the Zhongshan People's Government building, the junction of Xingzhong Avenue and Songyuan Road, and the junction of Xingzhong Avenue and Zhongshan Road.

The lighting decorations displayed at the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress greenbelt will be laid out in the shape of big lantern with a height of 7 meters, surrounded by wheat-shaped lights, star-shaped lights, and seasonal flowers. The space in front of the government building will be mainly decorated with chrysanthemums and seasonal flowers.

This year, a total of 10,512 pots of seasonal flowers will be used in the Spring Festival urban landscaping project, used for arrangements of festive lighting sets and flowers. Furthermore, Chinese knots, lanterns and other celebratory elements will be used to create a festive atmosphere.
