Zhongshan Women's Federation and Zhongshan Tourism Bureau started jointly a tourism activity for women yesterday morning, “Million women tour in Zhongshan”. At the same time, another activity, 10000 elderly women tour for the celebration of the Women’s Day also started. 450 elderly women from towns and districts of Zhongshan toured different routes.
After the activity started, Zhongshan would carry out a series of celebration activities, including photography contest, photo exhibition, millions of women visiting Zhongshan, celebration for the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Day, wedding ceremony of 100-pair couple and so on. All the March would be filled with happiness and peaceful atmosphere.
The event also attracted a lot of women from other districts. The data of the South Lake Travel Agency - Western Holiday showed that over 20000 visitors from Guangzhou, Foshan and other districts in the province went to Zhongshan during March 6 to 8.
