The Information Office of Zhongshan People's Government held the 88th press briefing on epidemic prevention and control on the afternoon of March 20.

On March 20, two asymptomatic cases were found in Torch Development Zone among close contacts under quarantine. As of March 21, six cases have been reported, all of which are related to the same transmission chain.

According to the travel records of the affected individuals, a total of 28 visited places have been screened, all of which have been controlled and fully disinfected. To prevent and control the epidemic more effectively, all the teachers, students and staff in schools in Zhongshan are required to take a nucleic acid test before March 24.
