The consul generals and consular representatives in Guangzhou from more than 20 countries as well as journalists from Chinese and foreign media on November 25 visited Tsuihang New District to learn about its development plan and had a distant view of the construction site of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, and visited the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen to learn his contributions to the Chinese revolution and Zhongshan's folk culture.
The delegations visited the Tsuihang TechFin City Phase I to learn more about the latest progress in Tsuihang New District's development and visited the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. The visit gave them a detailed understanding of the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, and the industrial and infrastructure development of Tsuihang New District. The delegation expressed their anticipation for the development prospects of Zhongshan and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area after the completion of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge.
The visit was an important opportunity for the consuls in Guangdong to take a tour of the West Bank of the Pearl River. Prior to this, the delegation also visited the east bank of the Pearl River and eastern, western and northern Guangdong.
