Chen Liangxian, vice governor of Guangdong Province, inspected Zhongshan on December 24. He visited enterprises producing pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as well as the construction sites of various transportation projects.
The vice governor visited the Zhongshan Tsuihang New District Planning Exhibition Center, the construction sites of the Zhongshan-Kaiping Expressway and the Eastern Outer Ring Highway, Zhongshan branch of the Institute of Drug Discovery and Development of CAS, Sinno (Zhongshan) Cosmetics Factory, Perfect China's South China production base and etc to communicate with project leaders.
Chen stressed that innovation should be promoted as the primary driver of development and Zhongshan should vigorously implement an innovation-driven development strategy. The city should continuously optimize its industrial structure and introduce new high-tech enterprises to create a good innovation environment.
