"Paean to Flame Tree: musical elements collection for Zhongshan's city tree" activity was jointly held on Jun. 13 by School of CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee Members and Zhongshan Hongguxuan Furniture Co., Ltd. Well-known composers including Li Xuming, Ma Guohua, and Jiang Ming came to Zhongshan to collect folk elements for composing "Paean to Flame Tree”.

Flame tree, which is blooming now, has been designated as Zhongshan's city tree. To built up image of the city tree and to promote flame tree culture, well-known composers have been invited to Zhongshan by the organizer to collect folk elements for the paean.
