In order treat rural sewage at the source, Zuobu Village in Nanlang District has become the first pilot area for a rural domestic sewage treatment program in Zhongshan, and the project is nearing completion.

The project started construction on November 26 last year by Zhongshan Public Utilities Engineering Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Zhongshan Zhonghui Investment Group.

According to the project leader, after visiting more than 300 families in the village, a construction team started the renovation despite difficulties including narrow lanes, old and dilapidated houses, cultural relics and monuments, and diverse drainage methods of residents' homes. At present, the project is progressing smoothly and is expected to be completed as scheduled in another week.
