2017 Aquatic Animals Releasing & China Ocean Day activity was held by Zhongshan Ocean and Fisheries Bureau in Cuiheng New District on June 8^th. 100 Young Pioneer members from the government organs came to the riverside to release 1,330,000 fish seedlings, and the activity plans to release 30 million shrimp or fish seedlings.

According to Zhongshan Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, the municipal People’s Government and Party Committee have earmarked 900,000 yuan to buy around 30,000 seedlings which will be released in the coastal waters of Nanlang and Cuiheng New District, Xijiang river, and the waterways in Jiya, and Xiaolan. The bureau also authorizes a third party organization to assess the effects of the activity, inspect the project and summarize the work by the end of this year.
