Zhongshan is listed in key control areas of air quality during 2010 Asian Games, and Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government Office has issued the Zhongshan Air Quality Control Plan during 2010 Asian Games recently to ensure clear air and blue sky and create a better environment for Asian Games.

Favorable conditions should be created for enterprises to implement central heating or use clean energy. Coal-fired boilers with the evaporation amount below 1 ton per hour are encouraged to be changed into electrical boilers.
