After a-year-long construction and with an investment of 30 million yuan, Luo Sanmei Park will be open to the public on Jan. 28th. Themed on “No Return”, the park reproduces the classical legend of the revolution. The relief sculptures of Luo Sanmei reflect the cultural tradition of filial piety and integrity.
In Jan. 1984, the chief designer of China’s reform and opening-up Deng Xiaoping made a trip to the south. When he ascended Luo Sanmei Mountain, he said “no return” to encourage people to stick to the reform bravely forward. To memorize the historical event and with the 30th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up nearing, San Xiang township government decided to build Luo Sanmei Park on Jan. 18th 2010.
