In the first half year, the basic green network in Zhongshan has formed by widely carrying out voluntary tree planting, promoting some key green projects of highway entrances and exits, major urban roads and channels, and pushing green establishment in towns. An ecological city has gradually built by the end of June.
Over one billion yuan is planned to invest in city greening, including 0.54 billion social funds.
