Government Work Report 2011 proposed that during the twelfth Five-Year period, the city will vigorously promote the construction of landscape, public green space and green belt along rivers, and start the project of Tianxin Forest Park.

It is learned that the city plans to newly build six forest parks in ten years to offer the public more choice for travel, tourism and fitness.

The two forest parks which will be built during the twelfth Five-Year period is Tianxin forest park and Yinken forest park. Three existing municipal parks, including Xiaolanghuan, Yunti Mt., and Zhuoqi Mt. will be improved to meet public needs.
