The 33rd China Household Appliances Fair began on March 7. More than 500 participating enterprises from all over the country took part in the fair with some 50,000 new of home appliance products, up to 10,000 of which were shown to the public for the first time. The 3-day fair was expected to attract around 55,000 buyers.
Four supporting events would be held during the fair, including a matchmaking tour for Chinese businessmen, the PDD platform and investment promotion meeting, the Cross-Border E-commerce and High-quality Development Conference for Zhongshan Brands (Mexico), and a JD investment promotion meeting.
The product display center of Zhongshan Smart Home Appliances Industrial Park (Huangpu), located on the first floor of Rongdian Group's 3U industrial park, opened on the first day of the event. About 400 products from 20 home appliance and preserved meat brands are on display, making the center an important window showcasing Huangpu as China's home appliances manufacturing hub and one of the famous preserved meat specialty towns.
