Six fully automatic dishwasher production lines newly built in Zhongshan would be put into use in May, with an additional capacity of 1.2 million units per year. This is one of the actions Galanz takes to increase capital to expand its production.

In the warehouses of Galanz's Zhongshan production base, boxes of microwave ovens wait to be shipped on schedule from major ports to  global markets, such as regions along the Belt and Road.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the demand for innovative household appliances has soared. In the first quarter of this year, the global sales of Galanz's products increased by more than 30% year-on-year.

Since the first quarter, Galanz has put great efforts in capital increase and production expansion and produces 150,000 more microwave ovens per day.

At the same time, Galanz has also increased spending on dishwasher production in its Zhongshan base. According to a spokesperson from the company, the new automatic production lines can assemble a high-end dishwasher liner in 15 seconds, with a first pass yield of 99.9%.

In recent years, Galanz has continuously introduced industry-leading intelligent equipment while promoting the informationization and intellectualization of the traditional manufacturing industry. The company's investment in introducing high-tech facilities over the past few years is equivalent to the total investment in the previous 3 to 4 decades.

"Investing in Zhongshan means investing in the future. We aim to improve our level of product standardization, universalization, modularization and professionalization and build a leading company in efficiency and performance," said Liang Zhaoxian, Galanz's chairman and CEO.
