The Future Technology Center of the Bay Area, located in the coastal area on east Ma'an Island in Cuiheng New District, officially opened on December 30, 2024.
So far, more than 20 high-tech enterprises have settled in the center and signed contracts on the day.
The center is located in the core part of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Integration Cooperation Zone, a one-hour drive to 5 international airports and 6 ports within the Pearl River Delta, a 30-minute drive to Shenzhen's Qianhai via the ShenZhong Link, and a 20-minute drive to Shenzhen Airport.
The project covers an area of 113 mu and has a total construction area of 380,000 square meters, with a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan. It includes 210,000 square meters of industrial R&D buildings, and 90,000 square meters of living quarters and coastal commercial facilities.
The center focuses on such industries as intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, next-generation information technology and modern service.
