At the 135th Canton Fair, the China Shower Room Export Base co-built by the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters and Zhongshan's Fusha Town was unveiled on April 24.
Currently Zhongshan is home to over 230 shower room manufacturers and more than 150 core supporting enterprises. A 10-billion-yuan-level industrial cluster that integrates R&D, design, production and sales and covers upstream and downstream industries such as glass, hardware, rubber strips and molds has developed, with a value of exports of 2.35 billion yuan in 2023.
Domestic shower room production bases are mainly located in Zhongshan, Foshan and Xiaoshan. Zhongshan has occupied 70% of the domestic middle and high-end shower room market share and 40% of the shower room industry's total value of exports.
