TCL held a commissioning ceremony for its commercial air conditioning intelligent manufacturing industrial park located on Yuanlin Road in Nantou Town on the morning of May 17.
The industrial park covers an area of about 3.3 hectares, with a building area of 42,000 square meters. It includes science and technology buildings, intelligent manufacturing and testing centers, 16 advanced labs and 8 digital production lines.
"TCL provides over 10 million sets of air-conditioning products to clients in more than 160 countries and regions around the world every year. Upon full production, the industrial park can produce over 2 million (sets) of products per year, with a total output value of exceeding 5 billion yuan," said Du Juan, board director of TCL Holdings.
As a leading enterprise in Zhongshan's 100-billion-yuan-level appliance industry cluster, TCL air conditioner company has been rooted in Zhongshan for more than 20 years. The company had a good start in the first quarter of 2022, with its output value increasing 21.2% year-on-year to 3 billion yuan. The monthly output of its Zhongshan base exceeded 1 million sets for the first time.
