The Zhongshan Xiaolan (Shenzhen) Lighting and Display Industry Investment Promotion and Information Exchange Summit was held in Shenzhen on November 6.

The strategic cooperation signing ceremony for the first group of companies to settle in Zhongshan Xiaolan (Shenzhen) Lighting and Display Smart Industrial Park was held at the summit. Xiaolan Town signed a contract with Shenzhen SOSEN Electronics Co Ltd and Shenzhen SNC Opto Electronic Co td.

According to the agreement, SOSEN will invest in a high-power LED smart driving power supply industrialization project, which is to be located in Xiaolan. Meanwhile, SNC has also formally signed on with Xiaolan on its LED smart lighting industrialization project.

Xiaolan Town also signed a cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association. The two sides will jointly build the Zhongshan Xiaolan (Shenzhen) Lighting and Display Intelligent Industry Park in Xiaolan. The industrial park will focus on the introduction of a number of 500 million-yuan level companies.

At present, the industrial scale of LED and supporting packaging companies in Xiaolan ranks among the top in China. There are more than 230 semiconductor lighting companies in Xiaolan, with an output exceeding 15 billion yuan. These companies form a complete industrial chain that integrate packaging, lighting, materials, design and applications.

According to Wei Hongrui, Mayor of Xiaolan, the town has implemented a series of supporting policies that will promote the development of the lighting industry. These measures are expected to benefit the industry in terms of research and development, project introduction, technical transformation, capital increases, production expansion and talent attraction. Xiaolan has also especially arranged and planned the lighting and display area in the municipal-level Xiaolan industrial Park.
