A delegation of Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Department came to Zhongshan on 20th with a hope of seeking partners to import and export aquarium fish and negotiating establishment of temporary basement of several fishes. Deputy Mayor Yang Wenlong met with the delegation.

Located along the equator, Indonesia is abundant in various kinds of aquarium fish. According to Maman, the head of the delegation, Indonesian products are always re-exported to China through Hong Kong or Macao and it will be much less complicated and more convenient for the products to enter China if Indonesia and Zhongshan can reach related agreements.

Yang Wenlong also expresses that Zhongshan has been actively building up aquarium fish exhibition, logistics and quarantine bases in Guzhen town and an aquarium fish breeding base in Fusha town. He further hopes the two parties carry out more exchange and cooperation in wider fields by making use of competitive advantages respectively to promote rapid development of relevant industries.
