The design sketch of Zhongshan Memorial Library

The attention-drawing new library – Zhongshan Memorial Library starts construction yesterday morning. An intelligent and a “l(fā)ibrary in garden” cultural center will be soon put into use.

The new library covers an area of 18344.2 square meters with whole construction area of 59266.25 square meters. There are 7 floors building above the ground with a capacity of s 3.2 million volumes of book, and 2000 seats with a capacity of 8000 people per day. The new library will introduce automatic book management system and the service will all be self-help.
