Zhongshan, together with Shunde and Shenzhen, ranks the first in the water quality assessment, according to a report on how well the Clean Water Project was implemented in Pearl River regions in 2014. The report was released by Southern China Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China.
