The Guangdong International Workers' Day Celebration and Model Workers Commendation Conference was held on April 29 to commend the Nation Labor Medal winners and recipients of the 2021 Guangdong National Worker Pioneer honor, as well as the recipients of the Guangdong Labor Medal and Guangdong Labor Certificate.
A total of 13 individuals and 11 units in Zhongshan City were commended. Among them, Mao Huonan, chief engineer and professor-level senior engineer of Zhongshan Shengxing LLC, won the National Labor Medal. The Water Supply Service Hotline of Zhongshan Public Utilities won the National Worker Pioneer (Unit) commendation.
At noon on April 29, the Zhongshan Trade Union Federation held a simple welcoming ceremony and presented flowers to the award recipients at the Zhongshan Workers' Culture Palace.
