Images: Philosophy of Chinese kung fu
2024-04-07

Duncan Leung, a Wing Chun master whose ancestral home is in Zhongshan, recently visited his hometown, Chongkou Village in Zhongshan's Nanlang, with his foreign disciple Stanley Maro Warden. The 82-year-old was trying to answer his disciple's question about the essence of Chinese kung fu.

"Kung fu is a blend of delicacy and force, and culture is a form of soft power," said Duncan Leung. "I teach Chinese kung fu, and at the same time spread Chinese culture to the world."
